Australian College of Marketing student, Lisa Summer-Hayes, has been officially recognised by the CIM for her world-beating results.
Lisa managed to achieve the astonishing feat of being awarded ‘Top Student’ by scoring the overall highest marks in the world on the CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. A major achievement, especially considering the worldwide pass-rate on some of the postgraduate modules is around the 40 per cent mark.
According to Lisa, “This is no ‘pay and pass’ qualification – it was a lot of hard work and I had to be really organised to fit the study in on top of working full-time, but it was well worth the effort. I learnt so much and it’s really supported my job being so practice based.”
Lisa went on to say, “It’s a shame I can’t attend the graduation ceremony in London. Anyway, I’m delighted with what I’ve achieved and wanted to thank my tutors at ACM as I wouldn’t have gotten through without their support and outstanding tuition.”
An experienced CIM student, Lisa also completed the CIM Diploma in Digital Marketing during her time in the UK working at London South Bank University. “When I got back to Australia, I wanted to keep studying and saw that there’s a CIM study centre here as well. It was a no-brainer – the depth and quality of CIM qualifications is just amazing”, says Lisa.
And with the recent arrival of ‘bub’ number two, this high achiever is currently on maternity leave from her role as Marketing and Family Communications Manager for Goodstart Early Learning. Lisa says, “I’m really enjoying ‘mat’ leave, but I’m also looking forward to getting back to work and the world of marketing.”
