Emma Blackburn – MSc, BA(Hons), MCIM, CELTA

Emma is principal of the Australian College of Marketing. A passionate educator of marketing at both university and TAFE, Emma also has over three years experience of designing, teaching and managing CIM programs. She has taught and convened marketing programs in the UK at Oxford Brookes University and Oxford College of Education; and in Australia at Swinburne University and the Australian Institute of Management (AIM).

Prior to her career in education, Emma was a Marketing Manager specialising in business-to-business marketing in the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries. She developed marketing strategy for large multinationals including Fuji-Xerox, Epson, Texas Instruments, Telstra and British Telecom.

Kerin has extensive experience as a marketing lecturer at university and TAFE level. She currently lectures on RMIT University where she teaches on the Masters of Advertising and is the first-year coordinator.

Kerin started her career in fashion retail marketing. She has ten years experience in managerial positions at Esprit – as National Children’s Wear Wholesale Manager – and at Portmans and Sussan Corporation as Advertising and Marketing Manager. At Sussan Corporation, Kerin managed a $3 million budget and was responsible for all internal communications and external promotion for a chain of 150 stores in Australia.

Anita has over 25 years experience as a trainer in Leadership and Management, Cultural Change and Project Management. Her industry experience ranges from manufacturing and mining to banking and finance. Anita is well known for her ability to bring a balance between theory and practitioner’s experience to her teaching and consultancy projects.

Joanne is an accomplished marketing professional with a twenty year career in training, brand management and marketing consultancy. She is a marketing lecturer at the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and at Homesglen TAFE where she teaches buyer behaviour, marketing essentials and market research.

Joanne has worked in senior marketing and brand management roles, building new brands from scratch as well as managing multi-million dollar campaigns for many well known brands. She has worked with a wide range of organisations including Procter and Gamble, Cara Operations, Creative Brands Australia, Mars Petcare, Aviva, Dulux and Nestle.
